A Sweet Intro

This blog is dedicated to our darling boy, born prematurely at 29 weeks and miraculously survived all odds during his 57 days in the ICU. We named him Reagan, which means our "Little King", strong and brave enough to fight any battles. He is also our little king whom we worship with a lifetime of our love and kisses. Baby Reagan continues to amaze us with his awesome strength, big personality, joyful laughter and lovely smiles. This is where we share both our learning journeys and all the fun bonding time together.

Our 1st Playgroup Session @ home

Gather a group of mommies with kids almost the same age, at a place spacious enough for all mommies & babies, then we have each mommy to lead a segment... and this is how we start our fun mini playgroup session today.

The lesson plan we crafted out
- Good afternoon song
- Flashcards (25 topics)
- Nursery action songs in English
- Puppet Story
- Snacktime
- Nursery action songs in Mandarin
- Alphabets game (Letter A & B)
- Musical Instruments Play
- Art/Sensory Play ( Fingers painting)

We were supposed to end it with a goodbye song, which was forgotten as all moms & babies were too busy eating after that!

Here are photos below showcasing the busy-babies in action!

15-20mins of free-play for the babies to "warm-up" and also to learn to share and play nicely with one another.

( It's also the time needed for some mamas to revise their segment at the last minute haha!)

 Puppet Story
During the snack time, happy mommies take a break while babies enjoy their snacks.
Big bro Ean is trying to feed baby Reagan in the picture below!
Sweetie Fleur "Look the plate is empty! More snacks for me? "
Music play with the instruments!
The babies instantly grabbed the instruments and began coming up with their own style of "music."
ART-ATTACK!
Messy Fingers-paintings
Feeling the texture of the colourful paints
Our artist of the day beaming in satisfaction!
Baby Fleur focusing very hard on the next step of her art-work...which somehow look like some chinese painting!
The next session I should suggest face-painting !
Due to the other mommies requests, I added a red dot on baby Reagan's head because they claimed that his face was too CLEAN!

The babies' masterpieces....only the artistic ones can understand the meaning behind their unique art...
The babies did have an awesome time spending a fun and stimulating day together and the lovely mommies also had a fufilling calories-burning afternoon with them, phew~
