A Sweet Intro

This blog is dedicated to our darling boy, born prematurely at 29 weeks and miraculously survived all odds during his 57 days in the ICU. We named him Reagan, which means our "Little King", strong and brave enough to fight any battles. He is also our little king whom we worship with a lifetime of our love and kisses. Baby Reagan continues to amaze us with his awesome strength, big personality, joyful laughter and lovely smiles. This is where we share both our learning journeys and all the fun bonding time together.

Reagan 's Morning Plays

Since Reagan is attending twice a week morning playgroup session at his preschool, I want to spend the other 3 weekdays mornings with him. Probably an hour of doing some activities or some fun play together.

It can be a simple morning of lego play as we aimed to build up a fortress to put Baby K inside...haha'

Or some craft work like playdoh or sponge painting (below)

Or pretend play, which is his favourite activity now! Daddy bought this kitchen set for him at a mega sale and he loves it absolutely! Well, this is supposed to be happy + gratitude face after he received it.....which is also the same as his constipated face..
Yes, his didi Baby K is also involved in our pretend-play as every morning I have to watch over the small one while entertaining the elder one.

There are also some mornings when we do his preschool assessment workbooks which he enjoys very much too.
He gets to paste stickers as reward and he never fail to give himself a clap after he has done so.

Other activities we did together in the mornings these couple of weeks:

- Make our own bubbles from water solutions.
- Cycle around the neighbourhood
- Reading and learning new sentences from books or flashcards.
- Learning the concept of money and recognizing the value.
- Watering the plants. I bought a tomato grow kit and is teaching him about the plant life cycle. Basically is just to let him understand that seeds can grow into plants with elements like sunlight and water. Will update more if my tomato growing project succeed.

Lastly I shall end this post with my R boy's signature "handsiam" face!
